i called in sick to work last week because i had a migraine. there are some people at work who do not believe me, but their words obviously mean nothing compared to mine (truth).
quiznos recently had a promo where you sign up on their website and get a coupon for a free small sandwich. i went there for lunch and got a large sandwich. i was hoping the cashier would take the large price and subtract a small price, leaving me with the difference. i knew they didn’t need to do this, so i was prepared to leave if they didn’t. things worked out my way. good thing. there would have been total chaos otherwise.
later i went to mcdonalds to redeem my ‘buy 1 iced coffee, get 1 free.’ got a hazelnut and vanilla. ordered a medium, should have gotten a large. so much more coffee for a fraction of the price. dammit.
for dinner i went to chick-fil-a. i used a ‘buy 1 dr pepper drink, get a free chargrilled sandwich’ coupon. i am so awesome that i even got a coke instead.
paid for all with my chase freedom card – 3% back. saved over $10 that day.

i have a bad habit of buying books and never reading them. slash is my favorite guitarist and one day something happened that made me want to read about his life.
borders had the book for $15.99. paid for it with credit card (1% back) and used my borders rewards card. i go home and attached to my receipt is a coupon – 30% off one item, but has to be used one week from that date. so i’m like, shit what do i do?
i waited one week. returned the book. came back the next day and bought the same book with my coupon.
i saved around $4.80. bought the book a few months ago and still haven’t read it.
